Orthopaedic Residency Program

The Ohio State University Orthopaedic Residency Program is committed to providing a well-rounded educational experience for residents in every aspect of orthopaedics. By combining a large volume of clinical work in each orthopaedic subspecialty, the academic pursuits in research and teaching are optimized. The program's parent institution is The Ohio State University Hospital. Three additional hospitals, Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus Children's Hospital, and Grant Hospital collaborate with the parent institution to provide each resident with complimentary ingredients for a well-rounded orthopaedic educational experience. The affiliation of the four hospitals provides a broad spectrum of musculoskeletal problems and pathology in all ages. The education of the orthopaedic residents at each hospital is the responsibility of the Director of Orthopaedic Education at each respective hospital, which is ultimately supervised by the Program Director.
