Clinical Interests: Sports injuries in shoulder and knee, ACL injuries including revision surgery, patellofemoral instability, joint preserving options for treatment of early degenerative disease of the knee.

Research Interests: ACL injury prevention and outcomes, patellofemoral instability and pain, outcomes of cartilage injury and cartilage restoration procedures.

Notes: Dr Magnussen is certified as Board Eligible by The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the International Society for Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery, and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine.
