Notes: Dr. Ryan received his medical degree from the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed two fellowships in Sports Medicine and Hip Preservation here at The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. Dr. Ryan previously worked as team physician for several Ohio high schools and assisted in providing medical coverage for the OSU football, hockey, baseball and wrestling teams. He has completed research on cartilage restoration and cartilage impact injuries at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and is currently involved in hip arthroscopy research at Ohio State. Dr. Ryan specializes in treatment of hip pain in the young and active adult, and has expertise in hip labral tears, femoroacetabular impingement, hip dysplasia, and hip arthritis.
