OSU Center for Wellness & Prevention
The OSU Center for Wellness and Prevention (CWP) is central Ohio's first and most comprehensive medically managed prevention and wellness center. The Center provides traditional exercise equipment such as treadmills, stationary bikes and weights, and offers yoga, aerobics, water fitness, and martial arts classes. Located at the Medical Center’s Outpatient Facility on west campus at 2050 Kenny Road, 293-2800. Discounted Housestaff and Medical Student Rates. 1 Year Fitness Membership-$150.00 (For full upfront payment) 1 Year Fitness Membership Contract - $180.00 (Billed in monthly payments of $15.00). The center also offers open basketball court time to OSU residents and fellows free of charge/membership, every Wednesday evening from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m on a walk-in basis.

California Fitness Centers
California Fitness Centers are currently at 7 locations around Columbus area. Discounted Housestaff and Medical Student rates are available. Monthly membership dues: $24.00 (all registration fees paid for by the GME office). Family member Add-On Discounts: $25 one time processing fee, $10 monthly dues for each family member.

OSU Recreational Sports
OSU Recreational Sports offeres a variety of sporting programs and venues. The venues include Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC), Adventure Recreation Center (ARC), Larkins Hall, and Jesse Owens Recreation Centers. Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC) is located in the heart of the Columbus campus just southeast of Ohio Stadium. The center is scheduled to be opened in 2005. Larkins Hall, also located near Ohio Stadium, contains 6 gymnasiums, 5 swimming pools, 4 multi-purpose rooms, 25 racquetball / handball / squash / volleyball courts, 3 conditioning/weight rooms, and is available for use by all students, faculty, staff and Rec Sports Activity Pass holders with valid OSU ID. Adventure Recreation Center (ARC) is located on Woody Hayes Drive near Kenny Road. It specializes in outdoor pursuits. Features include: full-service outdoor adventure center with equipment rental and a trip-planning resource center, 5,000 square feet of fitness space, state-of-the-art climbing center with over 4,000 square feet of climbing surface and a bouldering cave, 2 indoor turf fields with netting for soccer, lacrosse, rugby, cricket, baseball, field hockey, and more.
